I don't mean any disrespect to chai, but you might like another suggestion, since true chai boiled with the milk and sugar is not everyone's cup of tea.

Since I've used spices in my tea, and pretty much the same spices as in the indian version (although mine is said to be Yemenite - Cardammon, Clove and Cinnamon), here's my suggestion. Simply add the spice with the tea leaves when brewing. Regarding amounts - its hard to say, play it by ear (or maybe by tongue :) ).
